The information on this site is general information about Night Tech Solutions and our services. It is not professional, legal or financial advice. We try to keep it accurate and current, but prices, offers, hours and services can change, and we do not guarantee that everything here is complete or error-free.

Our services and your data

• Back up first. You are responsible for backing up anything important before you leave a device with us. Repair, upgrade and data work can lead to data loss.
• No guarantee of recovery. Data recovery is never guaranteed. Drives that are physically damaged may need a specialist lab.
• Secure wipes. A secure wipe is a written record of work we performed using the method noted on it. It is not a guarantee that data cannot be recovered by any method.
• Donated computers. Computers you donate are not returned, and we do not recover files from them.
• Manufacturer warranties. Opening or repairing a device can affect a manufacturer's warranty. Please check with the manufacturer if your device is still covered.
• Independent shop. We are an independent repair shop. We are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Apple, Google or any other device maker. Their names and trademarks belong to them.

How we share data

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only as needed to run our business and serve you, and only as described here and in our privacy policy.

• Service providers. We use other companies to take payments (Square), receive contact-form messages (Formspree), send calls, texts and email (such as Google Voice and Gmail), message you (such as WhatsApp), and send our mailing list. They receive only what they need to do that job and have their own privacy policies.
• Your devices. Data on a device you give us is used only to do the work you asked for and is kept confidential. We do not share it with anyone, except when the law requires us to.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, a court order or a valid legal request, or if needed to protect our rights, our property or someone's safety.
• Business changes. If our business is sold or transferred, customer information may be transferred as part of that change.
• Social media and other sites. When you use links from this site to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X or other sites, those companies collect information under their own policies.

Your choices: you can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop emailing you at any time. See the privacy policy for how.

Payments

Online payments are handled by Square on its own secure page. We do not see or store your full card number. Please only pay after we have given you a quote or invoice.

Limits on our responsibility

To the fullest extent the law allows, Night Tech Solutions is not responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of this site or our services. Our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service involved. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the law that cannot be limited.

This site links to websites run by other people and companies. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time, and the date at the top will change when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina.
